At Total Mouth Fitness, our goal is to improve the overall health of our patients. As a biologic dental office, we offer services to patients that are looking for a metal free alternative, as well as a healthier choice when it comes to how treatment is done and what type of materials are used. Although our office is unique in its specialty, we are still a general dental practice.

Dr. Wilke earned the accreditation of Applied Clinical Nutritionist (ACN) by completing a formal program through Texas Chiropractic College and Standard Process of South Texas in Jan. 2009. This accreditation will further enhance Dr. Wilke’s ability to treat each patient with added nutritional and supplemental counseling thereby improving their total health.

I'm a functional medicine health coach and the details matter to me. I feel completely safe when I walk into this space, they have the equipment in place to remove all source of mercury and when they did x-rays they used the thyroid shield which nobody ever offers at other dental offices I've been to! Mary-Beth was the best dental hygienist I've ever had - such a wonderful experience!

My experience is always very pleasant at Dr. Wilkes office! His staff are friendly and helpful. He is caring and listens to your concerns and gives professional advice and treatment. He even phoned me while he was on vacation to see how I was doing! That’s very rare these days. He cares about the well being of his patients. I highly recommend him and his practice.

I have experienced sinus issues for many years. Dr. Wilke removed a tooth preparing for a bridge and my sinus issues have all but disappeared! Given the education Dr Wilke provided, my sinus improvement is logical, but I never expected a miracle. Dr Wilke and his staff are THE BEST. Even little things, such as only calling me in the morning to not disturb my siesta.

Dr. Wilke and his staff are very competent and knowledgeable. I needed alot of work on my teeth and Dr. Wilke and the staff explained clearly everything needing to be done, including prices. They worked with me on billing, ect. Dr. Wilke is gentle, but he won't cut corners when it comes to what needs to be done. He cares and his staff is excellent! I'm glad we choose him. Total Mouth Fitness has a friendly vibe from the moment you sit down. The reception desk is extremely welcoming and takes the time to actually talk to you instead of only checking you in. All the oral hygienists are extremely patient and wonderful at their jobs. Dr. Wilke is incredible at what he does and I have never been scared of going to this dentist office. Dr. Wilke is Certified in Biological Dentistry

Dr. Wilke is one of the first dentists in the United States to become Certified in Biological Dentistry. This certification is through The International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine. (IABDM) The certification involves written exams as well as oral case presentations. This new designation indicates that Dr. Wilke has studied to show himself approved. (2 Tim 2:15).

First and foremost, the main objective of biologic dentists is to do no harm. The practical application of this is to not knowingly place any substance into people that will cause harm. This would pertain to materials including mercury amalgam fillings, nickel beryllium metals, and procedures such as root canals. The further practical application of this certification is to properly and safely remove these materials and treat any infected oral areas in our patients.
